So you have an idea.........

If there is photos involved in the design of the t-shirt please give us your biggest copy. If you shot the photo with 35mm film and you only have a 4" print just send us the negative with the print if you want the best clarity possible. 5x7 and 8x10 prints come out great. Remember, these prints are legal size and that is so much bigger than a 4" photo. Big D Design will do all they can to make the most of the material that we recieve from you. All photos will be returned intact with your order. Slides are welcome too! They are the best form of photography.

So you have some ability with making graphics on the computer and want to send me a file. NO ZIP DISCS PLEASE. Big D Design will accept CD RECORDABLE DISCS and FLOPPY DISCS. You can use Win Zip to compress the file for the floppy. Macintosh users send them the same way and use STUFFIT to compress the file for the floppy. Beautiful results can be acheived when using programs like Macromedia Fireworks or equivelent to compress the file into a jpeg or gif and then throw it on a floppy. No Microsoft file types please. There aren't many file types that we can't open up. If you send us a file with fonts please don't forget to include them with your work. Nothing worse than getting your order hung up for who knows how long. Here's the file types that we like the best: jpeg,bmp,png,tiff,cdr,cnv,cv5,gif,wmf,eps,fh8,all MAC files,photo cd. Please don't steal anybody elses work. That's not very nice. Big D doesn't need that kind of headache. If you supply one of these kinds of files there will be no problem getting your order completed. Video tape can be used to get a shot. Only the original tape will work with this process. NO 8MM of any type will be accepted. Big D Design likes VHS, VHS-C, S-VHS-C, NO REGULAR S-VHS. If you shot good quality video there will be no problem getting a print off of your tape. Be sensible when using this option. Bad video equals bad t-shirts. The most important thing is to BE VERY SPECIFIC about the part of the tape that you want us to take a picture of.

Ok you have a good idea. You want it translated into a t-shirt and you send a pretty good description of what you want. We can do that. For more than one copy of a t-shirt you may want proofs to pick from. No problem but it will cost you. The costs for proofing vary with each job. We can only assure you that the cost will be reasonable in the current market. Many nice logo designs have been produced at Big D but don't expect miracles here. There is only so many ways the company can go. Spending countless hours on logo design is not really realistic at the prices we offer. We are happy to spend time with you, but not day and night for two weeks at a time. Get the picture? Ok, now get cracking with this idea that you've got.

We have included some borders for your custom design to make it easy for you to order. Also you will get a better idea of what types we offer. Many borders are designed on the spot to make the photo look it's best. One border type is called "Photo Edges". For every photo there is a photo edge that will click with the picture. So you really can't pick the exact "Photo Edge" that you want. Leave it up to us to find a "Photo Edge" that works. And also the "Photo Edges" can be used to make a frame. Check out the examples in the "Borders" section below.
