Look ..... Entertaining Inlet Outlet surf shop asked Big D Design to make them a website that would convey the fact that Inlet Outlet is not just your basic surf shop. Budget was set at a realistic number for a professional presentation of surf shop. The surf shop is filled with surf/skate equipment & thousands of clothing/footwear items. All things in shop are available in all sizes and colors for from 2T on up to XXL. The difference between other surf shops is that Inlet Outlet WILL HAVE YOUR SIZE in stock. Ranking as one of the largest selections of lifestyle clothing on the eastern seaboard for an independant surf shop, Big D Design pulled out all the stops and built the Inlet Outlet website with all the bells & whistles. Music, animation, high-tech surf report, 3D virtual tours of the inside of the surf shop, a Cartoon Series, photo gallery and just so much more. Site was in development for 10 weeks. This website, along with arthurrue.com is what Big D Design can develop for high-profile clients that set their budget to get results. There will be an online store built late spring, that will be competitive with the top sellers in the surf/skate market. Over 230 hours design time. So much more to come. Stay tuned. First has had Big D Design downsize the large version of their website.
What was once a major force in the footwear industry, has now been
reduced in size. Web maintenence has been consiberbly reduced to increase
their bottom line. It's a choice that in this economy that has to be
made. I miss all the fun that we used to have making Feet First the
best that it can be. If you are looking for surf/skate footwear, this
is the best there is in NJ. Here's about what Feet First website was like in it's youth: Feet First is a large Retailer (9 Stores in New Jersey) of Athletic Footwear, Skate Footwear, Skateboards and the "latest" in clothing for the Younger set. Big D Design has layed out a 700 page website that showcases their products with very "clean" look, as to cater to all age groups. All footwear has "pop-up" large previews that are as sharp as a tac. Integrated into the design is a "Music Machine" that has 37 (and counting) original music tracks, so you can browse to music when previewing the products. Note: all products were shot by Big D Design on location by their photography division. This site was designed so that if Feet First wanted to sell their products Online, it would easily be instated. You could spend a half hour here having fun checking everything out and wonder where the time went. |

This is the second design of the website and is all animated in
Flash. The inside of the store and all the clothes that women love
are animated
and put you inside like you were there browsing. Very much an abstract
art type of design. The 1st design was very Macy's looking with
shore area photography in a sepia tone with models wearing upscale
clothing. Sorry you missed that one. It really was very special
with the abstract
images
of
the
ocean
in the header of each page. And each page had a different scene. |

From infants to Kindergarten, Sung Star has a state of the educating system and has filled up quite quickly within a matter of a few months. The website has all the impact that is necessary to grab the attention of new potential students. A lot of time was spent by Big D Design photographing students and catching the atmosphere of Korean Karate. Some of the movies were filmed and produced by Big D Design. Viewer leaves the website knowing exactly what is in store with the Kum Sung Karate Programs and the people that join and run this establishment. Catching the atmosphere of Karate the Kum Sung webiste is one of Big D's favorites. There is just an endless amount of content that adorns these pages. |

of Seaside Park. We were contracted to create a websiste that would
convey the allure of the Jersey Shore. In the same token, showcase
the Windjammer Motor Inn itself. All photography was done by the Big
D Design staff. We took a look at their competition and did out best
to better them in design and visuals. Trying to grab the viewers attention
of the wonderful place that the Jersey Shore is in the Summertime has

website that is only just a couple of months old. Manufacturing company
T-Rax has been around the surfing industry for quite a while. Official
surf rax for the Triple Crown of Surfing in Hawaii. Just about any
surfer from California has seen thes things. A small budget was requested
for design of T-Rax Surf. Miva Storefront was created. Miva online
shopping cart software is pretty bare out of the box. Big D Design
needs to customize the interface quite a bit before a nice look can
be achieved. But it is well worth the effort, due to the client can
manage the store quite easily. Webpages were created to introduce the viewer to the products and to the long standing relantionship that T-Rax has had with the surfing industry. Search engines are seeing the website with ease. This is what you want if money is tight. Things can be done on a grander scale with about $4k - $5k. Most companies would rather try to cut costs. We feel different about conductiong business on the Internet. But who are we to tell anyone anything. We are just marketing specialists and graphic designers that know how to get the juices flowing in the minds of the viewer. Get it overwith. Be successfull and spend what it takes to make your business work on the Internet. |
